Privacy Policy

When you create a poll: your name, your email address, and the poll details you enter (event name, description, location, time slots, and an optional response deadline).

When you respond to a poll: your name and the time slots you select.

If you sign in: your email address, used only to send you a one-time sign-in link, and a session cookie that keeps you signed in.

To prevent abuse: we temporarily log the IP address used to create a poll.

To run the poll: show it to invitees, collect and display responses, and let you manage it.

To send you email: a confirmation with your poll's links when you create it, and sign-in emails if you use an account.

To prevent abuse: rate-limiting poll creation from a single connection.

We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't sell it to anyone.

Buzzpoll runs on:

• Supabase — hosts our database and handles sign-in.
• Resend — delivers the emails we send.
• Vercel — hosts the application itself.

Each processes data on our behalf to run the service; we don't share it beyond what's needed for that.

Respondent names and their selected times are visible to the poll's creator. Aggregate response counts (not names) are visible to anyone with the poll's link. Your email address is never shown to other participants.

We don't currently delete poll data automatically. If you'd like your poll, your account, or your information removed, email us below and we'll take care of it.

We use one cookie, set only if you sign in, to keep you signed in between visits. We don't use cookies for advertising or tracking, and we don't currently use any analytics.

Buzzpoll isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
